Katelyn Wasser is the owner and Principal Architect at Two Waters Architects, established in 2020. Katelyn was inspired by her mother, a residential designer, who taught her that imagination can become reality with a good set of plans and even better collaboration.

After graduating from the School of Architecture at Mississippi State University, she worked for Fred Underwood, a well-respected architect in Decatur. She also worked in Montgomery and South Carolina before returning home to north Alabama - last working as Principal Architect at another Huntsville firm before choosing to invest in the community by doing Two Waters work full time.

Katelyn has over fourteen years working on commercial projects, including both ground up and tenant improvement projects. She also has educational, industrial and aviation experience.

Katelyn is one of those rare commercial architects who also has extensive experience in residential work. She enjoys getting to know people while working on their homes - including custom new builds, renovations and additions.

Katelyn is also DBIA Associate certified. She believes that great teamwork leads to great architecture, and the design-build delivery method is an option that can lead to excellent results.
